Meenakshi Verma, is presently working as Analyst in Massachusetts Division of Health Care and Finance Policy, Boston(MA). She has managerial, program design, implementation, financial, and evaluation experience both national and international. She also has experience in Grant writing, proposal review, Policy writing, health care financial statement analysis, budgeting, and cost control. Meenakshi was first introduced to the heart of India when she volunteered as an intern in Kala Raksha in the Bhuj region of Gujarat. She became the program director of the Jamaica Plain Asthma Environmental Initiative after returning to home. She also headed AVSAR in India from Jun '04 to Jan '06 and was in charge of organizing, fundraising and managing its setup in India. Meenakshi has done her MPH from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA.

Abhishek Kumar, a management consultant by profession, is based at Chennai office of KPMG Advisory Services (India). He is responsible for providing strategic guidance related to fund-raising and general management of AVSAR. Abhishek also serves on the Advisory Board of ASSET, a non-profit social venture fund, where he is involved in setting up the initiative and devising expansion plans. He has a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. Abhishek is highly passionate about exploring innovative models of social change at the grass-root level in India. His interests include social entrepreneurship, e-commerce, change management, strategy and volunteer management for NGOs.
