Our Partnership Philosophy

AVSAR believes in building sustainable relationships with our partner NGOs (non governmental organizations). We look for grassroot organizations that are enthusiastic about volunteers and creating sustainable programming. In addition to regular monthly inter-NGO meetings, NGOs also benefit from our every growing network, which includes local citizens from all backgrounds who are interested in getting involved with the public sector.

When we are selecting a partner NGO, we look for the following criteria:

  i. A clear mission
 ii. A strong vision for the future of the organization
iii. Experience working with international volunteers
iv. Viable projects for volunteers
 v. Provide supportive staff to supervise the volunteers on site
vi. Has interest in a health program or education program or is interested in starting one
vii. Is interested/enthusiastic about volunteers and their possible contributions
